Zhuge Oracle Lesson 183

Oracle Text

You move to go, then halt again,
and pace about without an end;
when you waver, do not force it—
where you can stop, then stop.

Interpretation

This oracle teaches that if you do a thing half-heartedly and under compulsion, then to act is worse than to stay still.
