Zhuge Oracle Lesson 201

Oracle Text

For no cause the wind and rain hurry the spring away,
stripping every peach and plum bloom from the bough;
by the peach trees someone sings and laughs—
knowing your heart is tangled as hemp.

Interpretation

Good times don't last, good flowers don't bloom again. Avoid petty people who stir up trouble and gloat over your misfortune.
