Oracle Text
The Way must have a steadfast heart,
and a steadfast heart will make the Way;
win your merit, then turn home early,
build a thatched hut, refine your true self—
and one day you ascend in flight,
your name set in the ranks of immortals.
Interpretation
It urges you to establish yourself and cultivate your work; do not crave high office, nor cling in greed to merit and salary.
