Zhuge Oracle Lesson 27

Oracle Text

Do not reproach me for my errant sight—
a stubborn nature breeds its own disease;
the heart turned warped and closed shuts wisdom out,
yet the true sage is troubled by no demon.

Interpretation

Don't cling stubbornly to your own views. Those of obstinate temperament should cultivate and temper their character.
