Zhuge Oracle Lesson 291

Oracle Text

You do not know the true tidings,
when, all at once, the tidings come;
on nights of waxing and waning moon,
do not let the door be opened.

Interpretation

News that comes in a rush should not be lightly believed; matters that change suddenly and capriciously are best left well alone.
