The blossoms of Chang'an stay out of reach;
yet in spring winds the horse's hooves run swift—
so spur it hard and early, do not wait,
and all at once the scene will burst to color.
Interpretation
A word of caution—don't aim too high or chase the unrealistic. The present situation is not ideal.
