Zhuge Oracle Lesson 40

Oracle Text

A belt of water, clear and blue-green,
a boat at rest, the moon at heaven's heart;
tread steady here—the mystery runs deep;
none wrongs you but yourself, near costing your life.

Interpretation

Like the old man who lost his horse—who is to say it isn't a blessing in disguise? Nothing goes quite smoothly, but you haven't made a grave mistake, and you can still withdraw unharmed.
