Zhuge Oracle Lesson 95

Oracle Text

Joy is not yet secure,
and grief has already struck;
great rain and raging wind beat the old tree—
and all declare it will not hold.

Interpretation

The world's joys and sorrows are fickle, and sorrow often hits harder than joy—enough to knock a person down.
