Oracle Text
The leaf returns to the root,
standing long between heaven and earth;
the water clear, the source long-flowing to river and sea;
and the one who gains the golden elixir lives long to the very brink of the deep.
Interpretation
All things grow and renew by a fixed natural tendency, and so do humans; one who can grasp this principle will surely live long and free of harm.
